LITTLE TREASURES II

Here's my second collection of Orange's drawings. I have observed that she is drawing events that recently happened in her life like her recognition day; recent episodes of her favorite TV show, "Indio", http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6sR24r0JLc ; and the episode of "Tropang Potchi" in Baguio City last Panagbenga 2013 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropang_Potchi

RECOGNITION DAY, March 2013

My 3 y/o little miss just had her recognition in Day Care last month. According to her these are her classmates Franchesca and Ana Marie in their recognition dress. They are also wearing crown. (But during the recognition day they are actually wearing white graduation cap)

GMA 7 INDIO

Orange had watched on TV that the main character of this show, Malaya/Simeon, reunited with his father (Baba) and mother (Eloi). I saw this drawing in her sketch pad.

Baba, Malaya, and Eloi
The lines connecting their hands, according to my daughter, manifest that they are holding each other.

CHARACTERS IN INDIO
"Malaya"

"Malaya with his top"

"Esperanza"
Feet are covered with her long dress

"Rosa"

"Magayon"
The letters on her arms and lines on her legs are tattoos =)

"Lihangin"
But looks like Lidagat or Dalikmata to me. Lol =D

"Ubo Simeon"

Orange loves Indio so much that she even asked me to send this drawings to Simeon (Sen. Bong Revilla), lol =D The triangular thing on his head is a hat; used by Simeon when he went back to Ilawod.

TROPANG POTCHI
Orange saw the Panagbenga episode of this children's TV show. She was so amazed when she saw the street dancing participants in their Igorot costume. She said that they dressed like the little Indio (Malaya). Then, I found this drawing in her pad paper.

She said this is an Igorot Ka-Potchi.

"Miggy, Potchi, Sab, and Len-len"
The kids in tropang Potchi were wearing hooded shirt in Baguio City, that's why the kid on the left has that striped thing around his face.

OTHER DRAWINGS

She drew these dresses when Mama was sewing her recognition dress.

She also copied her toy castle in this drawing.

She was awarded Best in Arts, Best in Storytelling, and Most Thoughtful in her recognition. Yey! =D
